Day8

 Good afternoon, parents! 

Happy Wednesday. We had a crazy day. I think this week is just chaotic in a way of coming right out of Vacation Bible School and moving so quickly. 

We have been having a little bit of troubles listening with the majority of the class and I do not want to discipline them in a negative way. 

So I created a "calming circle" that is neither negative nor positive. It is rather just a safe space in the classroom that nobody will be able to bother the student who wants a moment or needs a moment. Again, this might not be a permanent thing and I definitely do not want it to become a negative space for the children rather the opposite. 

Any student who simply needs a moment is more than welcome to go and take a breather. 

Please do not think your children are misbehaving cause that is not true. They are all great and I enjoy the time we spend together here at Zion! This is my more "permanent classroom" compared to my subbing or clinical's where I bounce back and forth from classes to classes. So with saying that, I am just trying to get all the experience and try all my education tactics to help run this classrooms smoothly and the days are more efficiently. 

Aside from that, we are doing well and enjoying our crafts, activities, and outside time. Please ask your students about their baby moses basket.. It was my best go to when I had no basket and no baby.. BUT the kids LOVED it! So a hit in my book!!
